Overview

The report describes Standard Chartered's 2024 progress in sustainable finance, climate and nature. It mobilised $121bn of sustainable finance from January 2021 to September 2024 and reported total Scope 1 and 2 emissions of 24,968 tCO2e. The company published its inaugural Nature Position Statement and became an early adopter of TNFD. Governance disclosures also report 42% women on the Board and continued Board oversight of sustainability and net-zero priorities.
