Sustainability Report

Overview

The report describes SBI's FY 2024-25 sustainability agenda across resilient, sustainable and inclusive banking. It sets a Net Zero target covering Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions by 2055, alongside carbon neutrality in internal operations by 2030. Environmental performance includes 61,400 tCO2e of emissions avoided through renewable energy, total energy consumption of 4,225,789 GJ, and total waste generated of 4,926.30 metric tonnes. The report also highlights a workforce of 236,226 and extensive financial inclusion and CSR initiatives.
