Overview

The report describes Sto Group's 2020 non-financial declaration, covering environmental, employee, social, human-rights and anti-corruption matters under the UN Global Compact. It reports 5,545 employees and consolidated turnover of EUR 1,433.0 million, and highlights certified green electricity from 100% hydropower, which saved more than 4,500 tonnes of CO2 in 2020 versus the German electricity mix. It also describes ISO 50001 energy management, ISO 14001 certification at 17 of 34 production sites, and an aim for the Group to become climate-neutral by 2025. Product sustainability work includes recycling initiatives, environmental product declarations and sustainability data sheets for around 500 products.
