Overview

The report presents SUMCO Group's 2022 sustainability performance across its Japanese and overseas operations. It reports 793 thousand tons-CO2 of combined Scope 1+2 emissions and 882 thousand tons-CO2 of Scope 3 emissions, alongside a 0.11% renewable energy ratio. The Group had 9,189 consolidated regular employees and reported zero deaths from occupational accidents for the Group and contractors. It also sets a 33% Scope 1+2 reduction target by 2030 and carbon neutrality by 2050.
