Overview

The report presents SHKP's 2016/17 sustainability performance for Hong Kong head office and wholly-owned subsidiaries, covering environmental, people, customer, supply-chain and community initiatives. Highlights include wetland restoration at PARK YOHO, energy-efficiency programmes and energy-saving awards. The Group reports 25,051 employees, zero work-related fatalities, 59,227 tonnes of Scope 1 and 307,743 tonnes of Scope 2 GHG emissions, and 3,728,657 m3 of water consumption. Community initiatives included HK$48 million in charitable donations and in-kind sponsorships.
