Overview

The report introduces the Brighter Futures blueprint as Sun Life's new sustainability strategy and roadmap. It describes a double materiality-informed assessment covering 23 sub-topics and 16 overarching material topics. The report provides 2025 enterprise GHG emissions data, expanded Scope 3 disclosures, and global performance data on employees, inclusion, community wellness and sustainable investing. Selected Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 GHG metrics were subject to KPMG limited assurance.
