Overview

The report presents Suncor's 2014 sustainability performance across environmental, social and economic themes. It reports 20.5 million tonnes of absolute GHG emissions, consolidated energy use of 304.25 million gigajoules and water consumption of 49.14 million m3. Safety performance included five work-related fatalities, comprising three employees and two prime contractors. The report also details initiatives in water stewardship, renewable energy, reclamation, technology development, Aboriginal relations and community investment.
