Overview

The report describes Suncor's 2019 company-wide sustainability performance, including 22,777 thousand tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 and 2 emissions and progress toward its 30% emissions-intensity reduction goal by 2030. It highlights $836 million spent with Indigenous businesses and suppliers and continued work on Indigenous participation. Environmental highlights include 66.33 million m3 of water consumption and extensive tailings treatment and reclamation activity.
