Overview

The report presents Suncor's 2020 sustainability performance across climate, water, safety, workforce, Indigenous relations and governance. It sets out the company's objective to become net-zero by 2050 and a 2030 target for annual emissions reductions across its value chain. Highlights include 20.86 megatonnes CO2e of operational Scope 1 and 2 emissions, 31.04 million m3 of freshwater consumption, 36% female representation on the board and 13,035 employees. Ernst & Young LLP provided limited assurance over selected performance indicators.
