Overview

The report presents Suncor's 2022 sustainability performance across environment, social and governance topics, including a 10-megatonne value-chain emissions reduction objective by 2030 and a net-zero Scope 1 and 2 ambition by 2050. It reports 17,111 employees, 100.32 million m3 of water consumption and 3,061 thousand tonnes of waste generated. Selected indicators, including GHG emissions, water withdrawal, energy use and employee and contractor fatalities, were subject to KPMG LLP limited assurance.
