Overview

The report describes a Board-led ESG governance structure, with the Board as highest responsible body and its ESG Committee overseeing ESG work. In 2023, the Group reported 59,524.91 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions, 50,629 employees, nearly RMB 108 trillion of sustainable insurance coverage and more than RMB 50 billion of sustainable investment. It also reported 16,672 volunteer-service hours and 73 Bo'ai Schools in 24 provinces. Selected 2023 key data received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers Zhong Tian LLP.
