The report says Surgutneftegas allocated RUB 39.97 billion to environmental protection in 2024 and obtained integrated environmental permits for all 106 Category I facilities. It reports 99.16% associated petroleum gas utilization and a 3% year-on-year reduction in gross greenhouse gas emissions from oil production and oil and gas processing. The company also planted more than 4.9 million trees to restore 3,166 hectares and returned 7,847 hectares to the Forest Fund.
