Sustainability Report

Overview

The report presents Handelsbanken's 2018 sustainability activities across its Group-wide operations, supported by a comprehensive materiality analysis and detailed GRI disclosures. Climate reporting was expanded through TCFD-aligned reports, while operational emissions fell to 9,373 tonnes and renewable electricity reached 100% in the home markets. The report also describes a workforce of over 12,300 employees and extensive responsible-investment, financing and community initiatives. An independent limited assurance report was included for the Sustainability Report.
