Overview

The report highlights a 39% reduction in university Scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2015/16 baseline, to 10,788 tCO2e in 2023/24. Scope 3 emissions fell 16% year on year to 69,802 tCO2e, while water consumption rose 24% above the baseline to 347,572 m3. The university also generated 892 tonnes of waste, of which 56% was recycled, and reported 2024/25 environmental improvements including adverse-event response and spill training.
