Sustainable Development Report

The report presents Swire Shipping's 2021 sustainability performance across its people, safety, partner and environmental programmes. It reports 1,869 employees, Scope 1 emissions of 532,572 tCO2e, Scope 2 emissions of 345 tCO2e and partial Scope 3 emissions of 1,062 tCO2e from air travel. The company adopted a net-zero-by-2050 goal, continued fleet-efficiency and single-use-plastic reduction initiatives, and sustainably recycled two vessels with zero pollution incidents. The report was prepared in accordance with the GRI Standards Core option and independently assured by Copeland & Partners Limited.
