The report presents Syngenta's 2016 progress under the Good Growth Plan, including 4.3m hectares of benefited farmland, 4.9m hectares benefiting biodiversity, 16.6m smallholders reached and 17.2m people trained on safe use. It reports group sales of $12,790m and energy consumption of 8,341 TJ, while total CO2e emissions were 1,551 (000s tonnes). The non-financial performance summary was externally assured by PwC with reasonable assurance for page 55 and limited assurance for pages 56-60.
