Overview

The report describes SYNLAB Group's 2025 sustainability approach across care, environmental stewardship and citizenship, aligned to its financial consolidation perimeter. It reports more than 23,000 employees, 189846 MWh of total energy consumption with 33% renewable energy, and gross GHG emissions of 18934 Tonnes CO2e in Scope 1, 27954 Tonnes CO2e location-based Scope 2 and 377712 Tonnes CO2e in Scope 3. It also reports zero work-related fatalities, a 42% female Supervisory Board and submitted 2030 Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 targets for SBTi validation.
