The report presents Synopsys' first formally designated ESG report and its 2022 Smart Future progress. It highlights submission of Scope 1, 2 and 3 targets to SBTi, the fourth consecutive year of CarbonNeutral company certification for global operations, and sourcing 40,000 MWhs of renewable energy annually. The environmental inventory reports 4,104 MTCO2e Scope 1, 34,592 MTCO2e location-based Scope 2, and 22,723 MTCO2e Scope 3 for calendar 2021.
