Overview

The report presents Synthomer's 2023 ESG data pack, covering environmental metrics for all manufacturing operations and major office/technical centres under operational control. It reports 230,798 tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 207,957 tonnes CO2e of location-based Scope 2 emissions and 2,562,957 tonnes CO2e of Scope 3 emissions, alongside a 47% Scope 1&2 reduction target by 2030 versus 2019. Renewable energy represented 17% of total energy, while group water consumption was 2,020,273 m3 and total waste was 50,358 tonnes. The workforce totalled 4,215 employees, with women comprising 44% of the board.
