Overview

The report describes TCS's 2008-09 sustainability performance across economic, environmental, labour, human rights, community and product responsibility topics. It reports 126,150 employees at 31 March 2009 and quantifies Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions under the GHG Protocol. The report also highlights environmental programs, energy and water conservation, biodiversity initiatives, employee engagement and community investment. It states that the report is in accordance with GRI application level A+ and was externally assured by KPMG.
