Overview

The report describes Techbuyer's circular IT model, which extends the life of equipment through refurbishment, upgrades, repairs, and buy-back. In 2020, the company established a cross-departmental sustainability committee and reported support for 18 new charities and more than £230,000 in cost savings for healthcare and education. Its October 2019-October 2020 pilot-year results included diverting 585,888.15 kilos of technology from landfill and promoting sustainable technology to 526 organisations.
