Overview

The report summarizes Teck's 2007 socioeconomic, environmental and social performance, reporting 8,867 employees, 28,932 TJ of energy use and 1,754 kt of total CO2 equivalents. Water consumption was 124,334,000 cubic metres, with 119,078,000 cubic metres recycled and an average overall recycling rate of 96%. Selected indicators received limited independent review by Deloitte & Touche LLP under ISAE 3000.
