Overview

The report presents Teck's 2020 sustainability performance across environmental, social and governance topics. It set an objective to be carbon neutral across all operations and activities by 2050, while reporting 2,795 kt of Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG emissions. The report also covers company-wide water balances, waste management and health and safety, and records 10,452 employees with women representing 25% of the Board of Directors. Selected sustainability data received limited assurance from PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.
