Overview

The report presents a dedicated sustainability statement with a comprehensive materiality assessment, sustainability governance structure and environmental and social performance disclosures. It reports 35,009 TNB Group employees, four work-related fatalities covering employees and contractors, and a FY2016 Scope 1 and Scope 2 GHG total of 29,061,190 tCO2e while FY2017 measurement was still in progress. The report also documents renewable-energy expansion, including the completed 50% Vortex Solar acquisition and a target to reach 1,700MW of renewable-energy capacity by 2025.
