Overview

The report presents TNB's 2024 sustainability performance across its energy transition, climate, social and governance agenda. Highlights include 38.75 million tCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 320,997,148 GJ of energy consumption, 4,152 MW of renewable capacity and 49,214 trees planted. TNB reports a 5% annual Scope 1 emissions-intensity reduction target, a 35% reduction by 2035 and net zero by 2050. It also describes a new biodiversity framework, Board Sustainability and Risk Committee oversight, and ISSB-aligned disclosures.
