Overview

The report presents tesa's 2012 progress under the UN Global Compact, covering human rights and labor standards, environmental protection, compliance and social projects. It highlights completion of the 2002-2012 environmental program, including reductions in VOC emissions, solvents, energy, waste and European CO2 emissions. The company expanded employee training, implemented anti-corruption and antitrust compliance initiatives, and continued workplace health and safety programs. It also reports ecoLogo product expansion, reforestation involving over 2,500 young plants, and grants totaling 54,000 euros to eleven sustainability projects.
