Overview

The report describes tesa's 2014 progress as a member of the United Nations Global Compact, covering human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, anti-corruption and social commitment. The company launched the “tesa connects” Corporate Citizenship program around four pillars: helping, donating, supporting and protecting. Its environmental program reported reductions between 2002 and 2014 of 21 percent in energy use, 16 percent in CO2 and 65 percent in waste. At the Offenburg plant, a combined cooling, heat and power system saved around 1,180,000 kilowatt-hours of energy and 3,600 tons of CO2 annually.
