Overview

The report is Tesla's first Impact Report and establishes a 2017 global carbon-impact baseline across its operational footprint. It highlights product impacts including 550,000+ vehicles sold, more than 10 billion miles driven, and over 4 million metric tons of CO2 saved. Operationally, Tesla reports over 60K safety improvements by the end of 2018 and describes its ongoing transition toward renewable-energy operations. The report also highlights the 2018 launch of Tesla START, a 12-week service-center training program.
