Overview

The report says the Trustees incorporated a detailed ESG Policy into the Fund's Statement of Investment Principles and excluded thermal-coal companies from active mandates. The Fund received an overall A in its first public PRI assessment. It also reports that active-holdings carbon intensity fell from 170 to 162 metric tonnes per million USD sales over 12 months to December 2018. The Trustees used SDG, MSCI and TPI lenses to monitor portfolio impacts and appointed Sustainalytics to support stewardship and engagement.
