Overview

The report records consolidated net sales of ¥174,711 million in fiscal 2006, up 10.3% and a third consecutive year of record-high sales and profits. The company also describes a group-wide target to reduce CO2 emissions per unit of output by 15% by fiscal 2010 relative to fiscal 2005. In May 2007, THK acquired Rhythm Corporation, broadening its automotive parts business and adding a new transport equipment parts segment.
