Overview

The report’s ESG section is prepared under the HKEx ESG Guide and covers the utilities, pharmaceutical, and electrical and mechanical operating segments for FY2017. It identifies emissions, resource use, labour, health and safety, training, supply chain, product responsibility, anti-corruption, and community investment as material ESG issues. Within the covered segments, the report highlights 676,524 Tonnes of energy-related CO2e and 4,174,875 tonnes of water consumed, alongside hazardous and non-hazardous waste disclosures.
