Overview

The report is Toast's first ESG overview and describes its initial sustainability strategy, social programs, environmental footprint, and governance structure. FY2021 environmental disclosures include 285 mtCO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 467 mtCO2e of market-based Scope 2 emissions, 3,129 mtCO2e of Scope 3 emissions, 13,034 GJ of energy consumed, and 334.2 metric tons of waste. Toast reports company-wide gender representation of 43.2% women and 3,172 employees. ESG oversight is assigned to the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee, supported by executive sponsors and cross-functional committees.
