Overview

The report presents TransAlta's fifth year of integrating financial and sustainability disclosure, alongside a transition toward renewable and natural-gas generation. The company reports 20.6 million tonnes of 2019 GHG emissions and a goal to reduce total GHG emissions 60 per cent below 2015 levels by 2030. It also reports 1,543 employees, 33 per cent women on the Board and selected sustainability indicators subject to limited assurance.
