Overview

The report presents TransAlta's 2024 progress on decarbonization, renewable expansion and sustainability governance. Scope 1 and 2 emissions fell 70 per cent from the 2015 baseline, while 93 per cent of Scope 3 emissions received limited assurance. The company commissioned the White Rock and Horizon Hill wind facilities and completed the Heartland acquisition, adding 1,747 MW of capacity. Workforce disclosures report 38 per cent women on the Board and strong safety performance, including zero employee and contractor fatalities.
