Overview

The report describes the launch of TransPennine Express' first Sustainability Strategy and progress across four sustainability pillars. It reports a 15% reduction in absolute carbon impact against baseline, including a full Scope 3 analysis, and a net-zero ambition for 2050. The report also records zero waste to landfill, accessibility improvements such as BSL departure boards and virtual station tours, and more than £583 million of social value generated.
