Overview

The report documents TransPennine Express's 2024/25 sustainability performance across carbon, waste, nature, people, accessibility and community impact. Its near-term emissions targets were approved and validated by the SBTi, while reported total Scope 1, Scope 2 location-based and Scope 3 emissions rose to 219,153 tCO2e. The company generated 616.25 tonnes of waste and continued to divert 100% of general waste from landfill. It also reports biodiversity improvements at stations, accessibility upgrades and £126m of social value delivered during the year.
