Corporate Social Responsibility

Overview

The report describes TIH's 2006 corporate social responsibility activities across customer service, people and safety, community involvement and environmental protection. It reports 13,425 Group staff and highlights intensive driver, ferry-crew and technical training. Community programmes included 2,750 FRIENDS OF KMB members contributing about 14,000 volunteer hours. Environmental initiatives covered Euro-engine upgrades, waste treatment, recycling and waste-oil recovery.
