Overview

The report describes Trinity's first formal stakeholder materiality assessment, which prioritized employee health and safety, diversity, equity and inclusion, human rights, and energy/GHG. It reports that the company set a 25% incident-rate reduction target in 2021 but did not achieve it, while expanding safety management efforts. Trinity also built a data platform covering GHG emissions, energy, water, and hazardous waste. Its Sustainable Railcar Conversion Program delivered 650 converted railcars and reused more than 10 million pounds of material in 2021.
