Overview

The report presents TUI Travel's Sustainable Holidays Plan 2012-14, structured around carbon, destinations, customers and colleagues. In FY13, the company achieved its airline carbon-reduction target one year early, reducing per-passenger emissions 9.3% against the 2008 baseline. It also took 3.8 million customers to hotels with credible sustainability certifications and featured over 1,200 certified hotels. Sustainability governance was assigned to the Group Management Board, which acted as the steering committee for sustainable development.
