Overview

The report covers Garanti Bank's sustainability performance for 1 July 2012 to 31 December 2013 and is prepared to GRI G4 comprehensive level. It reports 2013 Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions totaling 87,718 tCO2e, while separately reporting measured Scope 3 emissions of 11,939 tCO2e. Total energy consumption reached 195,861 MWh, and the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System covered 260 service points. Sustainability oversight was provided through a Board-member-chaired Sustainability Committee.
