Overview

The report presents Tyson Foods' FY2006-2007 sustainability activities across workplace, food safety, animal well-being, environmental performance, supply chain, and communities. It reports 27.5 billion gallons of water usage in FY2007 and a 15 percent reduction in water usage per pound of finished product since FY2005. It also reports 159,064 tons of landfill solid waste and 25,405 tons of OCC recycled in FY2007, alongside a corporate-wide 2004 GHG baseline inventory of 5.35 million metric tons.
