Overview

The report describes a low direct environmental footprint, with its carbon footprint arising mainly from employee travel and Group events, and focuses its environmental efforts on energy, travel, recycling, sustainable procurement, and staff awareness. For 2010/2011, the Group maintained electricity consumption at the previous year's level of 20 million kWh, and more than four in five subsidiaries had paper-recycling processes. French subsidiaries also recycled around 9.5 tons of computer equipment, while local Environment Committees and awareness campaigns supported site-level initiatives.
