Overview

The report describes Umicore's 2023 performance across its integrated strategy, sustainability reporting and governance statements. It reports 317,849 tonnes CO2e of Scope 1 emissions, 314,093 tonnes of market-based Scope 2 emissions and 7,524,839 tonnes CO2e of Scope 3 emissions. Renewable electricity reached 41%, while Group activities generated 90,030 tonnes of waste and water consumption was 1,440 megaliters. The report also highlights validated SBTi targets, EU Taxonomy disclosures and strengthened Supervisory Board oversight through a Sustainability Committee.
