Sustainable Living Plan Progress Report

Overview

The report describes Unilever's 2012 progress under the Sustainable Living Plan, including helping 224 million people improve health and well-being. Its product greenhouse gas impact per consumer use reduced by around 6% since 2010, while renewable energy reached 26.3% of total energy use at manufacturing sites. Sustainable sourcing reached 36% of agricultural raw materials, and around 450,000 tea farmers had been trained in sustainable practices.
