Overview

The report presents UnionBank's 2018 sustainability approach through a three-pillar People, Planet and Purpose framework. It highlights financial inclusion, employee development and volunteerism, environmental initiatives such as LEED-certified branches, renewable energy and waste management, and support for six SDGs. The 2018 scorecard reports 3,600 employees, 5.12 average training hours, 17,547 employee volunteerism hours, 64,495 GJ of energy, 9,419 TCO2e of GHG emissions, 114,740 m3 of water consumption and 10,982.05 kgs of e-waste recovered.
