Overview

The report highlights United Energy's 2024 sustainability performance, including zero fatalities and achievement of its 2030 carbon emissions target six years ahead of schedule. It records a 39 per cent reduction in Scope 1 and 2 emissions from the 2019 baseline, sets a Net Zero Scope 1 and 2 target for 2050, and presents its first Scope 3 inventory of 73kt CO2-e covering categories 1-7. The report also reports 27.6 per cent women in employment, 18 per cent women in management, 830MW of renewable generation connected to the network and limited assurance over the sustainability metrics and Scope 3 data.
