Corporate Social Responsibility Report

Overview

The report presents SMEC's 2022 social responsibility activities across governance, product quality, environmental management, supply chain, employees and community engagement. It reports 3,656 on-the-job employees and total annual energy consumption of 83262 tce. SMEC established a CSR Management Committee in February 2022, chaired by the CEO, while the environmental section states that no environmental pollution accidents occurred. The waste section reports 7,814 tons of solid waste transferred to qualified vendors.
