Overview

The report describes United Plantations' 2018 sustainability performance across its Malaysian and Indonesian operations. It highlights a 54% reduction in GHG emissions per kg of refined oil since 2004 and a new 60% reduction goal by 2025. The Group had 6,508 employees and had set aside more than 7,500 Ha for conservation. KPMG provided limited assurance over selected sustainability indicators, including water, safety, biomass residues, and pesticide data.
