Overview

The report describes the Group's 2020 sustainability performance across employees, environment, community and marketplace, including 6,098 employees and a 59% reduction in GHG emissions per kg of palm oil since 2004 when iLUC and nature conservation are included. It reports four fatal accidents and highlights the creation of a dedicated Safety Division. Environmental initiatives include biogas plants at all mills, 99.7% biomass utilisation and conservation of more than 7,500 Ha. KPMG provided limited assurance over 10 selected KPIs.
