Overview

The report describes United Utilities' 2024/25 sustainability performance, including approved near-term, long-term and net-zero targets under the SBTi Corporate Net-Zero Standard. It reports a 42% reduction target for Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, 100% renewable purchased electricity, 640,252 trees planted and 3,000 hectares of peatland restored. Spills per storm overflow fell 39% from the 2020 baseline. The company also completed its first voluntary EU Taxonomy assessment, reporting 87% of turnover aligned.
